The Illinois 16-hour Concealed Carry training is the mandatory course for the new CCL applicants in Illinois, spit into classroom and live-fire sessions over two days.

What the 16-Hour Course Covers:
Key Requirements & What to Bring:
  • Age: Must be 21+.
  • FOID Card: Not required to take the class, but needed to apply for the license (or be applying for one).
  • Firearm & Ammo: Your own unloaded handgun (or rent one) and 30-50 rounds for the range.
  • Eye & Ear Protection: Required for the range.
